Buildwise was founded by Paul Saker in 2005 when his skills as a sub-contractor were much in demand. As his reputation grew, so did his business and his loyal team. Nearly 20 years on, our position is solidified as a main contractor. With a growing team of over 35 management professionals and a project team in excess of 100, Paul continues to steer the business: he remains committed and focussed. Many of his team have been with him from the start.

Health & Safety

We are committed to delivering safe and effective solutions to our clients. We operate to the highest professional standards when it comes to the safety of our team. Our future business growth depends on them, and their welfare is our number one priority. Safety is never taken for granted. Our Health & Safety Policy is communicated to all persons working with us; we have a responsibility, regardless of job role, of ensuring the safety of the team and the community in which we work. Health and safety is actively promoted through effective and regular consultations. All our sites are run according to current Health and Safety legislation, and as guided by our independent advisors, Bernard Sims Associates. We are accredited by the Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme (CGHAS), passing a rigorous annual assessment and are also members of Construction Line. We do not compromise when it comes to Health & Safety.

Training

We look at the training and development of our teams as an investment for our future. A Continuous Personal Development (CPD) training plan is in place, and we ensure all certification is renewed and additional training courses are organised. By doing this, we are able to provide highly experienced and trained individuals for our project teams to deliver the best possible results.
