Sandford House was a two storey 6,500 sq. ft. office building no longer needed by C7 Architects after their office move. They wanted to use their asset and create 9 apartments.

Located in Catteshall Lane on the outskirts of the thriving town of Godalming, the area had historically been the main business zone. The area was undergoing a regeneration to accommodate the demand for more housing.

The office was an uninspiring 1960s building, and C7 used their skill to redesign it imaginatively to suit its new purpose. A more appealing contemporary exterior of smooth render and timber cladding was applied to offer kerb appeal to the target market.

Structural alterations were made to accommodate the new layout and each unit had its own street access. All were finished to a high standard with contemporary fixtures and fittings.

The project was completed with a programme of external hard and soft landscaping, with new driveways and paving.
